i never knew

It's so weird that people just sit there and pretent they don't know whats going on like for eample today some one got shot and i remember before i became homeless i wouldn't even know ...Because i lived in springvalley but even thats not a safe place anymore ..
so i'm going to write a poem called
I never knew
I never knew that people were dying
i didn't think about the reason why there were
i didn't wonder why the girl next to be was crying
i didn't think driveby mean anything really
but i was wrong now i heard shot outside my window and
now i know why she's crying her nine old brother got shot by a driveby
i can believe my eyes when i saw what happen
i didn't know that a location so important to some one
But now i know i'm laying here face down
i think i got shot but i'm not sure i'm so scare my body is in shock
i pray to god that i won't go
now i know
now i can see the pain in the love one eyes when their brother or sister die
i wonder why ... why do we do this i wonder
i hope one day we can stop it before it's to late and the whole human race is gone
i never knew isn't enough
